Shipping for Alaska, Hawaii and US Possessions: The additional cost of standard shipping outside of the contiguous 48 states is due to using either FedEx Ground or USPS Priority Mail. We use these shipping methods to ensure that orders are received within the 4 - 8 business day delivery window. Shipping methods other than FedEx Ground or USPS Priority Mail resulted in much longer delivery times - in some cases, up of 4 weeks - that were unacceptable to most of our customers. For this reason, FedEx Ground and USPS Priority Mail have become our delivery methods of choice for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other US possessions.
Canada: We now ship to Canada via FedEx. For orders under $100 USD, shipping charges are a flat rate fee of $20 USD plus import duty and taxes. For orders over $100 USD, shipping charges are 20% of the subtotal of the order plus import duty and taxes. The import charges (approximately 12-13% of the subtotal of your order) will be collected by FedEx at the time of delivery.
Economy and Standard delivery orders usually ship from our fulfillment center 24-48 hours after the order is placed; these orders require a 1 - 2 business day order processing time. The Economy and Standard delivery times shown in the previous table reflect the business days the order spends in actual transit from our fulfillment center to the delivery address - order processing time is not included.
FedEx ships Economy packages to a post office near your address and the U.S. Postal Service then delivers them. If you would prefer not to have the USPS deliver your orders, please choose our Standard shipping option.

Items ordered after 2pm (ET) Friday will ship Monday.
Applicable taxes & duties will be charged for deliveries to, and within, Canada.
PO Box, APO/FPO are shipped via Parcel Post, all other shipments are via FedEx.
Yankee Candle cannot ship packages on days that are US national holidays. The following dates are affected:

Please remember that because they are custom orders, Personalized Photo Candles take 5-7 business days to complete; all the delivery times listed below are in addition to those 5-7 days we're working on your order. Standard Shipping is via FedEx to your recipient's address; FedEx does not ship to PO Boxes.
We also offer 3 different rush options-but remember, all rush option delivery times listed below are in addition to those 5-7 business days we need to complete your Personalized Photo Candle order.

Additional Charges and Taxes Outside the Contiguous United States
Shipments outside the 48 contiguous United States may be subject to import charges and taxes which are the responsibility of the purchaser or recipient.
Certain products, such as our Concentrated Room Sprays, cannot be shipped by air. Delivery of these products is restricted to ground-shipment only within the contiguous United States. Please refer to the product page details to determine product shipment availability.

We are required by law to collect sales tax for deliveries to all states in which we have a company-owned retail store. We will automatically calculate the tax rate according to the shipping address. To see if there are stores in the state that you are shipping, refer to our Store Locator.

To pay for your order with a Yankee Candle Gift Card, enter the card number and PIN number on the "Payment Information" screen at Checkout. Note: With the exception of Yankee Candle Gift Cards, only one payment method can be used per order.
Yankee Candle periodically runs promotions and special offers. These offers enable you to purchase exceptional Yankee Candle products at a great value. Occasionally a "Promo Code," may be needed to take advantage of the offer. The "Promo Code" is entered in the Shopping Bag and if all requirements of the offer are met, you'll receive the discount associated with the promotion. You will have a chance to review and verify the information you have entered during checkout and, if no changes are necessary, you can proceed to "Place Your Order." Within approximately 24 hours, you will receive an email confirming that your order has been received. Once your order has shipped, your credit card will be charged and we will notify you by email with your tracking information.

If you receive a web or catalog order with an item that is damaged, missing a component or in some other way defective, please contact Customer Service at 877-803-6890 before returning the product.

At this time, we accept orders from international guests who are shipping to addresses in the U.S, Canada, APO and FPO. We are unable to ship internationally.
